With each treat that you buy from our company aids us in the process of giving back to the victims' families. Did you know that the Netflix production Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story did not give anything to the actual victims? Many have considered this greedy and a bit retraumatizing. These families are forced to relive one of the most horrific things to likely occur to their family.
This is a tweet made by one of the victims' family members. They ask why it's necessary to create so many shows, movies or documentaries. No one can seem to answer that, yet the media continues to bring the incident into light. As Eric Isbell states, "Its retraumatizing over and over again, and for what?" The only answer so far is for personal gain and greed. It's truly sad that in this day and age people still don't have the consideration to ask the victims before proceeding to film and post the show.
Maybe if the show benefited them in some way, then it wouldn't feel so harsh. What's really sad is that they continue to make money off of this awful event. That's exactly what we as a company plan to do, we donate one dollar to the victims' families for every cinnamon cookie roll bought.
